The toilet seat is partic. intended to be for the combined use of adults and children, and therefore incorporates an adult seat (10) which has a relatively large hole in the middle, and hinge (12) at the back. The child's seat (20) has a comparatively small inner hole (23) and hinge (22) at the back, connected to the hinge (12) of the adult seat. The lid (30) is also connected to the adult seat hinge (12). The child's seat (20) is superimposed on the adult seat (10) inside the inner circular hole. The outer periphery of the child's seat (20) is curved to match the inner circular curve of the adult seat (10). Fastenings (24) are mounted on the lid (30) and child's seat (20).
