<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the compact and stable paper feeding device capable of being driven independently by a method wherein a rolled paper feeding member and a card paper feeding member are arranged so as to pinch a printing section in a printer utilizing both of the rolled paper and the card paper. CONSTITUTION:The rolled paper 7 passes through a printing mechanism consisting of a dot impact head 5 and a platen 6 via a paper guide 12, is pinched by a roller 1 and a paper pressing roller 2 and is sent to the direction of the arrow sign 9 by the counterclockwise rotation of the paper feeding roller 1. On the other hand, the card paper 8 is sent to the direction of the arrow sign 10 by being guided with a card guide 13, passes through the printing mechanism, is inserted into a pair of a card feeding roller 3 and a card pressing roller 4 and is fed to a guide 14. The rolled paper feeding mechanism is located below the card guide 13 and further it is arranged between the two sets of the card feeding rollers 3, therefore, the passing section of the card becomes a flat surface thereby eliminating a chance to bend the card.</p> |
