PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a reproduced sound, by providing an oil cup, storing a viscous liquid for damping, to the coupling part between the arm pipe of a tone arm and the arm body. CONSTITUTION:The tone arm has arm pipe 21 and arm body 24 coupled together by a coupling member. Fixed arm 23g and fixed arm 23c are fixed in freely attachably and detachably at the arm pipe side and the coupling member and at the side of arm body 24 respectively, and between two fixed arms 23g and 23c, partial resonance damping means 23 is provided. Partial resonance damping means 23, consisting of oil cup 23a storing viscous liquid 23b, the 1st fixed arm 23c fixed in freely attachably and detachably from consent part 22, the 1st clamp member 23d, screw 23d', the 2nd clamp member 23f with damping fin 23e, and screw 23f', is fixed on arm pipe 21. Damping fin 23e is provided upright on the 2nd fixed arm 23g provided in a Z shape and at right angles from clamp member 23f, and steeped in viscous liquid 23b to prevent consent part 22 and arm pipe 21 from resonating. |
