PURPOSE:To shorten the calculating time of a firing angle and improve the accuracy of ignition control by a method wherein master and slave thyristor inverters are connected with each other in an antiparallel mode with the firing angle on the slave, side kept constant, and the relation between the master and slave is changed over when the output current on the master side becomes lower than the circulating current set value. CONSTITUTION:A pair of thyristors 4, 5 are connected in an antiparallel mode and their AC sides are connected to an AC power source 1. The AC output voltages of the inverters 4, 5 are generated to a load 8. The current flowing in the inverters 4, 5 and the load 8 is detected by transformers 6, 7, 9 separately, and each current is inputted to a microcomputer 10 to compute the firing angles of the inverters and add the outputs to automatic pulse phase shifters 11, 12. At this time, the firing angle of the inverter on the slave side is kept constant, and the relation between the master and slave is reversed when the output of the master inverter becomes lower than the circulating current set value. By so doing, calculation time is shortened, while ignition control can be carried out with higher accuracy. |
