The modular projectile has four elements with a common point and the same external and internal diameters with just sufficient play for assembly. The parts are of synthetic injected material. The material is chosen for its mechanical properties. The upper element is a dome (1) with a ring and embedded to another ring (3) or a separator (4). The shape of the separator is to give a better gas distribution. It also separates the clearance and the chamber and can include resistant plastics parts.
