<p>The guide device is for use in a cigarette-extinguisher, particularly as mounted in a motor vehicle. It has lateral guide plates with recesses accommodating trunnions on the extinguisher, also a magnetic base-securing device. The extinguisher for use with the guide can have a stop tongue in addition to the lateral trunnions. The design allows the cigarette end to be tipped automatically into the ashtray and reduces the risk of it being dropped on the floor of the car.</p> |
