PURPOSE:To enable to remove extraneous substances by running the cooling liquid to the reverse direction without disassembling the cooler using a method wherein the flow of the cooling water is controlled by switching valves provided in the cooling water piping system and the running direction of the cooling liquid in the cooler is switched off. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the cooling system consisting of a water supplying main pipe 2, a cooler 1 and an exhausting main pipe 5, switching valves 6 and 7 are provided in the water supplying main pipe 2 and the exhaust main pipe 5 respectively. Also, the upper stream side of the switching valve 6 and the upper stream side of the switching valve 7 are interconnected to the branch pipe 8 to be used for the main pipe of the cooler 1 through a switching valve 10, and at the same time, the downstream side of the switching valve 6 and the downstream side of the switching valve 7 are interconnected to a branch pipe 9 to be used for the main pipe of the cooler 1 through a switching valve 11. Normally, the valves 6 and 7 are opened, but these valves are closed and valves 10 and 11 are opened when cleaning is performed and the extraneous substances are removed by reversing the running direction of the cooling liquid in the cooler 1. |
