Control network for inverter supplied via intermediate DC circuit - has DC=DC converter feeding integrator and multivibrator for timing

A control circuit is for the thyristors of an inverter supplied via a d.c. voltage intermediate network. It generates the control pulses for the thyristors to effect control in such a way that no current flows when the voltage of the intermediate circuit is low. Each phase contains two thyristors and two free-wheeling diodes in a bridge. Each parallel branch of the bridge contains a commutating choke with a centre tap supplying the load. There is a d.c.-d.c. converter producing an output proportional to the voltage of the intermediate network. It feeds an integrator which determines the integration time. The integrator feeds a multivibrator which determines the timing for the thyristors.
