There is an arm, with one end hinged to the wing frame. It is fitted to a bearing eye swivelling about the pivotal axis on the blind frame, on window wings optionally turning about a vertical pivotal axis or tilting about a horizontal tilt axis. Between the bearing eye (26) and extension arm (17) there is a hinge (21), with its axis (29) virtually perpendicular both to the pivotal axis (4) and to the longitudinal axis (30) of the arm. The eye can be fitted with a closing piece (32) running parallel to the pivotal axis, for engagement with a bolt guided on the wing and controlled by a drive bar. This can be easily installed on triangular or trapezoid windows, and on arched windows or doors.
