<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an aqueous ink for ball point pen which is excellent in smoothness with which ink comes out and resistance to slipping on paper in writing by containing a specific nonionic surfactant. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous ink composition, obtained by adding a water-soluble dye, an antiseptic agent, and, as needed, an anionic or cationic surfactant and a water-soluble resin, to an aqueous solvent composed of water as the major component, and 5-20wt% a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol (e.g., ethylene glycol, ethyl Cellosolve, etc.), is furthermixed with 0.02-1.0wt% a nonionic surfactant of HLB of 12-13 (e.g., polyoxyethylenelaurylether, etc.). EFFECT:An aqueous ink which is excellent in familiarity with the portion contaminated with finger fat, etc. of paper surface, wettability to the ball surface of a ball point pen, transferability to paper surface, and ability to make the writability of a ball point pen better can be obtained.</p> |
