PURPOSE:To prevent sparks except at the ignition time by a method wherein a charging control circuit is formed which closes switching control elements prior to ignitions of corresponding ignition plugs respectively and finishes the chargings to respectively corresponding capacitors by the ignition time. CONSTITUTION:The ignition plugs 6a, 6b are provided each with the capacitors 10a, 10b and with the charging control circuit 14 to open-close control the switching elements 15a, 15b which ON-OFF control those capacitors to be charged. Due to the construction that the chargings of the capacitors are started just before the ignition and the ignition plugs are connected each with the capacitors, the time of the continuation of the charging state of approximately -3,000V in the individual capacitor is short to the extreme, and accordingly, no discharging occures at the ignition plug except at the ignition time. |
