PURPOSE:To obtain easily the mirror for car which is light-weight and is superior in safety, by performing the punching work after subjecting the composite plate consisting of the synthetic resin sheet and the metallic sheet to the chromium plating treatment. CONSTITUTION:The metallic sheet is stuck to one face or both faces of the synthetic resin sheet to form a composite plate. The sheet consisting of the polyolefin resin such as thermoplastic polyethylene and polypropylene is desirable as the synthetic resin sheet, and the sheet consisting of aluminum, iron, copper, nickel, and so on where chromium can be plated is used as the metallic sheet. This composite plate is subjected to the chromium plating treatment by the known method, and the mirror face is given to the metallic sheet surface, and this plate is washed by water and is dried and is subjected to the punching work into a prescribed form. |
