<p>The tubular rotary furnace is used for the pyrolysis of waste material. It has a heater, a gastight inlet for the waste material, and an outlet for the fumes. There is a gastight outlet for the solids. Devices are provided to empty the furnace tube of solids completely, typically in the form of an internal wall with a straight portion for part of its periphery between the inlet and the solids outlet, and with a baffle, also sets of spiral ring segments.</p> |
