Water-gauge filter pipes of different lengths, at two or more depths levels, are used for measuring groundwater levels and/or pressure in stressed and/or unstressed groundwater conductors. The filter pipes (7) are held together by space-retainers (10). These can be in cluster form, located between filter pipes and borehole sides, or running out radially from the pipe centre point. The spacers may be held together by a plate, pref. with a loop attached to it. Multiple levels can be established, with less time and effort involved.
