<p>A cylinder core turning in a case, and a key insertable in a channel, are combined in a closing and locking system. The key (4) has ribs (8) and/or recesses (9) on two surfaces (5,6) located transversely to the direction of insertion (7). The ribs and recesses control blocking elements (10), displaceable transversely to this direction, the elements protrude into a recess in the case (1), in the blocking position, and are located inside the partitioning surface (13) between cylinder core and case when in the release position. They can consist of balls in holes (11) in the core (2). This provides for a wide range of variations, and may be successfully used with magnetic locks.</p> |
