PURPOSE:To obtain a high gap magnetic flux density in the magnet movable type DC linear motor by a method wherein a stator coil being wound thinly and uniformly in one direction over the movable range of a runner, and a runner comprising a magnet which forms a magnetic path so as to surround the outside of said stator coil, together with a yoke. CONSTITUTION:The stator coil 4 consists of two winding coil units 5, 6 so disposed as to make contact at a longitudinal center. The winding coil units are wound in directions as designated by arrows 7, 8 and connected in series with one another. The coil 4 has an effective coil section 9 over the movable range of the runner. The movable element consists of a magnet 11 so disposed through an air gap 10 as to surround the effective coil section 9 of the stator coil, and yokes 12, 13 for surrounding the stator coil from the outside of the frame-shaped section and surrounding the inside of the magnet, and sliders 15 are secured to both sides of the runner. |
