PURPOSE:To eliminate ghost with a simple constitution, by forming a cancelling signal by a signal obtained by causing a differentiating circuit provided in a delay circuit to reflect a ghost detecting reference signal, and a signal obtained by supplying a video signal to the delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:When switch 25 is turned off at the time gamma0 (the delay time of delay circuit 22) after the leading edge of the vertical synchronizing signal, the ghost detecting reference signal is reflected by coil 24 in the last stage of delay circuit 22. At this time, switch 21 is turned off. At the time 2gamma0 after the leading edge, the differential signal is distributed to delay circuit 22, and at this time, signals of respective taps are supplied to capacitors 311-31n. Further, when 2gamma0 after the leading edge elapses, switch 21 is turned on, and the video signal is supplied to delay circuit 22, and delayed signals are output to respective taps and are weighted in weighting coefficient circuits 331-33n by signals from capacitors 311- 31n. These signals are added by adding circuit 34 to form a cancelling signal. |
