PURPOSE:To reduce the waste of the recording tape, by rewinding the recording tape when a prescribed time elaspes without detection of the voice signal after transmission of the transmission private message. CONSTITUTION:When transmission of the message to the other party is completed, the recording start signal is applied to input terminal 2, and recording circuit 5a is set, and simultaneously, effective recording detecting circuit 7a is reset by the recording start signal. When the voice signal from the other party is applied under this state, the signal is recorded on recording tape 10. Simultaneously, the voice signal is applied to sound detecting part 4 also to output the voice detection signal. Since timer 6b of speach end detecting part 6 is reset by this output, the speach end signal is output to stop the tape after recording of the position signal if voice is broken for a time longer than the set time. However, if voice is not detected but the speach end signal is output after recording start, the rewind start signal appears to rewind the tape to the last recorded position signal. |
