摘要 PURPOSE:To discriminate the degree of growth highly through the prevention of the advance of stray light and to make simple and small the system and device, by making incident irradiated light from the end of a laboratory dish made of transparent materials and leading it to cells through a thick part. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 14 covering a laboratory dish 12 made of glass from upper side is provided, which is fitted with light emitting diodes 151- 158, light collection lens 16 and photoelectric converter 17. With this constitution, irradiated light 18 incident from the end surface 12A of a laboratory dish 12 repeats reflections through the light conducting operation of the thick part 12B and reaches the bottom of the laboratory dish 12 to irradiate cells 11. The scattered light from the cells 11 is incident to a photoelectric converter 17 via a condenser lens 16. The light not incident to the end surface 12A advances in the direction reverse to the lens 16 and the member 14 effectively shields external light. Thus, stray light which is a cause of errors, is not almost incident, allowing highly accurate photometry. Further, since the device of photometry is located only at the upper part of the dish 12, the device can be made small in size.
