PURPOSE:To improve the clearness of color by applying SiO2 dispersing solution and exposing it in HF ambience after band and dotted holes are formed on a light absorbing layer, and thus forming a phosphor layer. CONSTITUTION:SiO2 dispersing solution of sol state is applied to the inside of a face plate, on the light absorbing layer of which dotted or band holes are formed. So as to make this layer coated with the SiO2 dispersing solution oxidized and gelatinized, it is exposed to an HF ambience and washed with pure water. Remainders of a photosensitive binding agent left on dotted and band holes formed in the light absobing layer are covered with gelatinized SiO2 and each phosphor layer of the first color, the second color and the third color is formed one after another. |
