<p>A mobile factory providing apparatus for harvesting and processing trees to chip form at the stump location to reduce to a minimum the number of separate operations presently carried out between stump and mill. This factory consists of a single vehicle with a positive traction system to ensure a stable platform for favourable positioning of the factory to a stand of trees.
