PURPOSE:Rings of the strings binding reeds of a laver sheet screen at one end of the screen are laid to other rings of another screen and a rod is passed through these rings to permit the easy connection between laver sheet screens and to ensure the flexibility at the connected parts. CONSTITUTION:Strings 2 binding reeds of a laver sheet screen are cut near to the end to be connected and a part of reeds are removed. The cut strings are bound to form a ring (b). Then, the screen is placed next to another screen to be connected so that the rings in both screens are arranged in a line and a reed is passed through these rings to connect these screens. |
