PURPOSE:To increase strength of frame angular parts and improve overall strength of a shadow mask, by providing reinforcing padding parts in the frame angular parts of the shadow mask used for angular-shaped fluorescent screen of a color television. CONSTITUTION:In angular parts 4 of a frame 2 mounted to a bottom face 5 of a mask main body 1, reinforcing plates are welded to said bottom face 5 or side face 8 to form padding parts 6 and cover insufficient strength of the angular part 4 caused from a structural element of the shadow mask. In this way, the angular parts in the whole shadow mask are reinforced to prevent the angular part from damage thus enable the improvement of strength of the shadow mask. |
