PURPOSE:To increase the pressure of a refrigerant generated in a regenerator and enhance cooling power by a method wherein a mixed refrigerant liquid from an absorber is heated between the absorber and the regenerator by the heat supplied from a running engine. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerant evaporated in an evaporator 1 is absorbed in an absorbent liquid, and the mixed refrigerant liquid is heated while passing also through a cooling jacket 6a for the running engine 6 and then returns to the regenerator 7. Since the mixed refrigerant liquid is heated in the course of flowing to the regenerator 7, the quantity of heat is added to the quantity of heat deprived from exhaust gas in the regenerator 7. Accordingly, a sufficient amount of gaseous refrigerant is generated in the regenerator 7, with a high pressure. Since the evaporation amount in the evaporator 1 increases corresponding to the increase of the pressure of the refrigerant regenerated in the regenerator 7, the cooling power can be enhanced. |
