PURPOSE:To prevent suspension of recording operation, by allowing start of recording when there is a recording sheet of size capable of recording information. CONSTITUTION:When a B5 size signal is stored in size indicator 22, and when A4 and B4 size signals are detected with size detectors 21-1 and 21-2, size signal generator 24 generates an A4 size signal larger by one class. A B5 size signal of indicator 22 is compared 26 to the A4 size signal of detector 21-1 via distributor 23, and its discordance signal draws out counted value 1 from counter 27. Then, the B4 size signal of detector 21-2 is compared 26 to the B5 size signal, and its discordance output draws out a signal to line SL10 from counter 27, and A4 size signals from each distributors 23, 25 are compared 26, and its coincidence signal permits start of recording of a beam recorder. |
