<p>PURPOSE:To improve the SN ratio to prevent erroneous read of information, by providing a light shield material between the card and the photodetector, in the reader using cards with guide holes. CONSTITUTION:Transparent plate 8 is provided between card 1 provided with guide hole 1a and photodetector 3, and opaque light shield material 8a is provided in the position where the light incident from guide hole 1a is shielded. Therefore, since the light incident from guide hole 1a is shielded by light shield material 8a, the light is not detected even if the light is incident from guide hole 1a. Consequently, the deciding part is prevented from operating erroneously.</p> |
