PURPOSE:To enable to easily switch a faulty block to a stand-by block, by providing a transfer circuit and a memory circuit on each function block, respectively, connecting in series the transfer circuit of each function block, and transferring an intrinsic address. CONSTITUTION:The function block is constituted of transfer circuits 1-i, memory circuits 2-i, decoders 3-i, and function module bodies 4-i [i=1, 2...(k+r)], and the block of normal k-group is selected and the block of r-group is reserved as spare. The circuit 1-i of each block is connected in series, the intrinsic address for discriminating each function block is transferred in order by the circuit 1-i, and when the intrinsic address has come to the circuit 1-i of the function block for providing said intrinsic address, it is stored in the circuit 2-i, and in accordance with the intrinsic address, operation and nonoperation of the function block are prescribed. In case a fault has occurred in the existing function block, the spare function block is operated by the intrinsic address, and the faulty function block can be switched to the stand-by function block. |
