PURPOSE:A remedy for immune diseases effective against diseases resulting from abnormal immune action, e.g., rheumatic disease, collagen disease, injections disease, cancer, etc., comprising a specific organic germanium compound as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A remedy comprising an organic germanium compound [e.g., p- (N-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonylacetylamino)phenylgermanium trihydroxide] as an active ingredient, which is obtained from a trihydroxide compound shown by the formula (R<1> is H or alkyl; R<2> is alkyl; n is 1-6) by polycondensation through dehydration. The compound shown by the formula has actions to promote the migration of white cell blood and antibody producing competence, and to increase the preventing function of an organism, so that it is effective against renopathy, liver diseases, etc. to be considered abnormal immune function diseases or autoimmune diseases, e.g., rheumatic disease, collagen disease, infectious disease, cancer, etc. |
