PURPOSE:To enable the smooth discharge of ball point ink and to prevent the slipping of papers, by blending an anionic surfactant such as a higher alcohol sulfate salt or an alkylarylsulfonate with an aq. ink for ball point pens. CONSTITUTION:0.02-0.5wt% (based on the total weight of the resulting aq. ink compsn.) anionic surfactant having an ability of largely lowring interfacial tension with oils (e.g. a higher alcohol sulfate salt such as sodium lauryl sulfate or an alkylarylsulfonate such as sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate) is blended with an aq. ink for ball point pens, which contains water as the main component and is obtd. by adding a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol, a dye, etc. to water. In this way, the wetting properties of the aq. ink to the surface of the ball of the ball point pen are improved. Adaptability to paper surface on which fats of fingers are deposited, is also improved. |
