PURPOSE:To set the fixing temp. of a heat fixing device of a copying machine corresponding to the thickness of a paper by changing over a control signal to be applied to a control means for generation of heat. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 15 is changed over, the reference voltage to be applied to a differential amplifier 18 is selected. Thereby, the control voltage outputted by the amplifier 18 according to the temp. of a heater 3 detected by a thermocouple 16 is changed, and the supply voltage to the heater 3 via a conductor angle control circuit 21 and a thyristor 4 is regulated according to the thickness of the paper, whereby the heater 3 is so controlled that the temp. meeting the paper thickness is reached. Hence, the heater temp. of the heat fixing device is set according to the thickness of the paper, and even if the paper thickness varies, the good heat fixing treatment is accomplished. |
