PURPOSE:To make it possible to clean a disk surface by providing a means of cleaning the disk to a member arranged on an arm carrier. CONSTITUTION:Arm 6 is fixed normally on arm carrier 3. Focus control over laser light to the surface of a video disk is exercised by moving an optical means and arm carrier 3 to right and left without moving arm independently up and down, and right and left. Arm 8 at the left end, having means 9 of cleaning a disk at its tip, meets the disk during signal reproduction of the disk preceding a reproducing means provided to arm 4 or arm 6, removing dust, etc., on the disk surface. As cleaning means 9, a brush or destaticizer normally used to clean a disk is usable and the disk can independently be cleaned. |
