Air pistol trigger operating mechanism - has pivoted lever which returns to rest under gravity enabling independent operation

The device is to enable working of the trigger of a firearm by itself and independently of all other moving parts. It is particularly applicable to a 4.5 calibre air pistol. The arming lever has a small pad by which it may be lifted up by a finger. A notch towards the front serves as a stop for the rest position. Placing in this position is automatic due to the lever weight towards the front returning it without an additional return spring and all its complications. An extension on the lever rear gives pressure on the trigger.
