PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition with super thermal aging resistance suitable for a high-temperature use in the surroundings of a car engine, by blending a mixture of specific copolymer rubber with a specified vulcanizing agent, vulcanizing accelerator, antioxidant, and processing auxiliary. CONSTITUTION:(A) Copolymer rubber of ethylene, propylene, and polyene having a molar ratio of ethylene/propylene about 50/50 - about 95/5 is blended with (B) copolymer rubber of ethylene and propylene having a molar ratio of ethylene/propylene about 50/50 - about 95/5 in such a way that a weight ratio of A/B is about 55/45-90/10 to give a rubber ingredient. 100pts.wt. rubber ingredient is blended with about not less than 0.003mol part organic peroxide as a vulcanizing agent, about not less than 0.003mol part vulcanizing accelerator, about not less than 5 pts.wt. antioxidizer, and not more than 20pts.wt. processing auxiliary. An inorganic filler may be added arbitrarily. |
