摘要 PURPOSE:To discharge the rapidly increasing gas pressure in a coil container by taking out a pressure relief pipe to the end of a rotor shaft from the high temperature side of the cooling part of a torque tube, and providing a pressure relief valve at the end of the pressure relief pipe at the outside of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:The pressure relief piping 16 is taken out of the coolant outlet of a heat exchanger 5B to the end of the rotor shaft on the side of a driving means, and the pressure relief valve 17 for said piping 16 is provided at the outside of the end of the rotor shaft. Thus, the pressure relief pipe is taken out of the high temperature side of the heat exchanger located at the end of the rotor shaft opposite to the side of a coolant feeding and exhausting means to the end of said rotor shaft, and the pressure relief valve is provided at the outside of the rotor. The coolant gas evaporated in the container 3 is normally returned to the feeding and exhausting means. When the gas pressure exceeds a specified value, the pressure relief valve 17 is opened, and the gas is quickly discharged through the pipe 16. At the normal operation, the amount of the heat which enters into the coil container can be reduced.
