PURPOSE:To provide a metal corrosion inhibitor effective for both iron and steel materials, by using a composition containing a trialkanolamine borate ester represented by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:This metal corrosion inhibitor contains a trialkanolamine borate ester represented by general formula I, where R1, R2, and R3 may be the same or different, each representing a hydrogen atom, a methyl gp. or an ethyl gp. The trialkanolamine borate ester is added to water glycol or glycol ether solvent, thereby providing a product. |
