PURPOSE:To prepare a high quality foam-molded product efficiently by a method wherein special movable molding dies, special movable cooling dies and a high pressure atmosphere room are used in combinations, a rough molded product is transferred under pressure and the final product is released from the die. CONSTITUTION:In a set of dies 10, 20 clamped, material is filled, heated and molded to provide a rough molding (a). Then, the die 20 carrying the rough molding a is inverted 180 deg. and moved. On the other hand, another set of cooling dies 30, 40 is opened, moving the cooling die 30 which is inverted 180 deg., the molding die 20 and the cooling die 30 are let to coincide with each other to be clamped, the rough molding a is moved to the cooling die 30 and then they are inverted and returned to the original state. Then, the cooling dies 30, 40 holding the rough molding a are clamped and cooled (these processes are carried out in the high pressure atmosphere room 50). Then, the foam-molded product a that is the final molded product is brought out by the cooling die 40 in the open air to be released from the die. |
