PURPOSE:To eliminate mounting mistake and to effectively hold a ferrite core at a lead by guiding the lead using a lead guide member to the inner face of the core, inserting the lead, and then supporting the weight of the core using the lead itself. CONSTITUTION:When core gripping members 12, 13 grip a ferrite core 4 transferred from a shutter member 14, the members 12, 13 and lead guide members 10, 11 start forwarding toward the lead 2 of an electronic component 1 positioned laterally. The members 10, 11 are closed at this time, and the end of the lead 2 is guided to the inner face of the core 4 by the semi-conical groove. The members 10, 11 are opened when the end of the lead 2 is inserted into the core 4, and separated from the lead 2. The members 12, and 10, 11 are moved rearward with the core 4 remaining on the lead 2. Thus, the core 4 can be effectively held by the lead 2. |
