PURPOSE:To realize the initial access without transmitting any signal for initial access, by obtaining the value P which is decided by the distance between each station and the satellite with an error less than a certain permitted range. CONSTITUTION:The positions of the major cities are within a range of 136 deg.+ or -6.0 deg. and 38.5 deg.+ or -5.5 deg. north latitude in the TDMA communication system in which the major cities in Japan are set as the service areas. The reference station is set at the central spot of the service area, i.e., the 136 deg. east longitude and the 38.5 deg. north latitude. Thus the reference station requiring no special initial access transmits first the reference synchronous signal, and this signal is received at the own station to set up the reception frame synchronism. The reference station acquires the value of P and then broad casts this value to each station in the system for utilization. At each station the value KE, which is obtained by converting the difference of distances between the reference station and the satellite and between the satellite and each station on the earth into the value P, is obtained to set it to the arithmetic circuit 15 for execution of the initial access. |
