PURPOSE:To enhance the cooling efficiency and to miniaturize the main body by providing the special relationship between the dimension of the ventilating hole and that of the outer frame of the main body, providing ventilating windows in the direction of outer diameter of a cooling fan cover, and locating it at the end surface of a stator core. CONSTITUTION:A ventilating hole path 13 is provided at a motor main body M having a cooling fan 9, and the fan cover 7 is provided. A plurality of ventilating windows for auxilary suction in the direction of the outer periphery of the fan cover 7 are located at the positions on the end surface 15 of the stator core on the side of the suction port 14 of the ventilating hole path 13. The cooling wind W is inhaled through the windows 10 and suction port 14, passes the ventilating hole path 13, and is discharged as the warm wind Wo. Thus, the main body M is cooled. The relationship between the dimension D of the outer diameter of the main body M and the dimension delta of the opening of the hole path 13 is delta/D=0.01-0.04, and the cooling is performed under this condition. In this constitution, the cooling can be performed highly efficiently and the configuration of the main body of the mortor can be miniaturized. |
