PURPOSE:To hold a sealing material at lower than the heat-resistive temperature while holding the temperature of a filter part above the dew point, by using a variable conductance type heat pipe in which noncondensible gas is sealed to a proper amount at the normal temperature and under the atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:Heat pipe 13 is provided to prevent exhaust gas from condensing. Heat reception part 13a is heated by the exhaust gas, the temperature of filter 4 is isolated by center part 13b, and radiation part 13c radiates excessive heat. This heat pipe uses the variable conductance type one in which a proper amount of noncondensible gas, such as nitrogen gas, is sealed at the normal temperature and under the atmospheric pressure. Consequently, when a heat input is small. the steam pressure of a working liquid is low and the boundary surface between steam and gas moves to reduce the effective radiation area, so that the reduction of the condensation area will decrease the amount of radiation. On the other hand, when the heat input is large, the reverse result is obtained. Consequently, when the heat input is large, the sealing material is held at lower than the heat-resistive temperature and even if the heat input is small, the temperature of filter 4 is held above the dew point. |
