PURPOSE:To securely prevent scattering of an ink mist into the air with simple structure, by arranging a recording sheet opposite to the outlet of an ink mist feeder, and providing a charged zone between the peripheral border of the outlet and the outlet. CONSTITUTION:Recording sheet 2 on which a latent image is to be recorded is conveyed with guide roller 3, 4 so as to locate sheet 2 oppositely to end face 33 of peripheral wall 30 raised on the peripheral border 31 of ink mist feeder outlet 31 with predetermined clearance allowed to avoid contact. A pair of bank shaped electrodes 36, 37 for constituting charged zone 35 are arranged on the whole peripheral inside of wall 30 surrounding outlet 31, and control voltage is applied acorss electrodes 36, 37, and an electric field for attracting the ink mist back into mist chamber 24 is generated near wall 30 of outlet 31, thus permitting scattering of the ink mist into the air to be securely prevented. |
