Control for underfloor hot water heating - has single thermostat valve operated by ball and floor temp. sensors providing variable ratio effect

The circulation in an underflow hot water central heating system is controlled by a single thermostat-fitted valve responsive to two temp. sensors, e.g. one on a wall and one under the floor centre. The thermostat controlling the valve has a closed container filled with liq. which expands with rising temp. and which is connected by a thin capillary pipe to a similar second container. Both containers and the connecting pipe are hermetically sealed to form a single unit. The volumes of the two containers differ and have proportionate control effects, e.g. the wall sensor may have 70% effect against 30% for the floor sensor. These proportions are adjustable.
