发明名称 REVERSIBLE PERIODICAL MAGNETO-FOCUSING SYSTEM
摘要 A reversible periodical magneto-focusing system comprises a sequence of oppositely magnetized permanent magnets (7) and magnetically soft pole parts (1) placed therebetween, each of those pole parts being provided with an opening for the passage of the electron beam. Grids (2) with cells (3) are placed in the openings of the pole parts (1), those grids being made of a magnetically soft material and being in magnetic, thermal and electrical contact with the pole parts (1). The corresponding cells (3) of the grids (2) are located coaxially to each other. Relations between the geometrical dimensions of the reversible periodical magneto-focusing system are given for which the passage of the electron beams (5) through all the cells (3) of the grids (2) is achieved. The invention can be used in the electronic industry when designing compact low-voltage super high frequency devices of high power (Klystrons and travelling-wave tubes) as well as in charged-particle accelerators and in technological installations using extensive electron flows.
