<p>Support battens, for gripping head support battens on both sides of the blade, are contained in two plates, forming a hinge box, transverse to the shaft, on the shaft end of an insertion hinge for frame saw blades. The plates have two notching devices, opposite each other, accessible from the plate edge and worked into them, for locking engagement by the saw blade with a bolt mounted on it. The notching devices can be recesses on the edges of the plates, or holes with slots for the bolt. Saw blades are easily secured against unintentional displacement and easily released for removal.</p> |
