<p>PURPOSE:To solve problems such as toner repulsion or end staining, by conveying recording paper in contact with an interposed insulator such as felt without bringing a metal plate grounded directly into contact with the backside of the paper. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper 3 is fed in contact with cylindrical photoreceptor 1 rotating anticlockwise, an image is transferred with transfer electrodes 4, paper 3 is separated with separating blade 5, and sent to a conveying system. Metal member 6 is grounded, and felt made of >=0.5mm. thick raw material is provided on metal member 6, thus permitting toner repulsion or end staining to be remarkably lessened as compared to the conveyance system in which a metal touches the backside of the transfer paper directly.</p> |
