<p>PURPOSE:To utilize digestion gas for power generation effectively, by controlling a gas power generator in such a manner that the gas power generator is operated only in a power generating period. CONSTITUTION:A gas tank 16 is provided with a gas pressure detector 18 and a temperature detector 19. The values obtained by these detectors are fed to a gas amount calculator 20 which computes a gas amount from an effective volume of the gas tank 16, the detected pressure and the detected temperature. The total calorie of the gas reserved in the tank 16 is calculated from the computed gas amount, and fed to a computer 21 for computing a total possible power to be generated, computing an operation period of a gas power generator 17, and feeding a power generator controller 22 with such a signal as to reduce a received electric power at a peak during a day in a sewage disposal plant on the basis of the computed operation period. Thus, the gas power generator 17 is operated with a saved energy.</p> |
