A device for the dispensing of material in powder or granular form. The dispenser consists of a housing containing two contra-rotating cylinders the envelope surface of which is fitted with axial grooves. In the upper section of the housing the grooves is filled with powder, which is emptied out into the lower section of the housing as the cylinders rotate. The sealing body is arranged between the cylinders and the housing. The device can be used for dispensing against a vacuum by causing the cylinders to lie against each other to form an airtight pinch. The cylinders rotate in such a way that when a groove in one of the cylinders is located by the pinch, the opposing cylinder has a plain envelope section at the pinch.<IMAGE> |
