<p>PURPOSE:To input the coordinates, quickly, surely and accurately with a simple constitution, by forming each of the coordinate electrode of a tablet so that the width is stepwise changed along the lengthwise direction and providing the float electrode on a given area of each stage via an insulation layer. CONSTITUTION:The coordinate electrode 5 is located in parallel with the X direction on the base 4 of the tablet 1 with an equal distance, and the float electrode 7 is located toward Y with an equal distance toward the electrode 5 via the isolation layer 6. The coordinate electrode 5 is formed so that a given distance toward Y can be changed for the shape stepwise by a given width, and square of the float electrode 7 is located at the part having a given width of the coordinate electrode 5. Further, when a given voltage is fed to the coordinate electrode 5 externally, a stepwise voltage is induced to each float electrode 7 so that uniform voltage can be obtained on the individual electrode, allowing to detect the coordinate surely and quickly when the detection pen is in contact with the upper board 8.</p> |
