PURPOSE:To make a terminal for education needless and dispense with the totaling of transaction data, by providing a switch means which indicates that education is being held and by setting a flag, which inhibits totaling, to transmit transaction data to be transmitted to the center when this switch means is operated. CONSTITUTION:File controller FCL connected to total file FL, plural point of sales POS terminals POS#0-POS#n from which transaction data is input, and terminal controller TC are provided. For education, keyboard K provided in terminals POS#0-POS#n is operated to indicate educating to processor MPU. Processor MPU sets the flag, which indicates data in educating, in a prescribed bit position of transmission register TRG to transmit data to circuit l2. The existence of this flag is discriminated and stored by receiving register RRG of controller TC. Thus, the terminal for education is needless, and totaling of transaction data is dispensed with. |
