<p>PURPOSE:To ensure to include guide band noise within the vertical blanking period, by decelerating the capstan motor to a given speed at the still playback mode set and stopping the motor after a given time from the time of playback of control signal. CONSTITUTION:A capstan 9 scanning a tape 1 is turned with a capstan motor 10, which is driven with a control amplifier 11. This motor 11 is fitted with a frequency generator 12, the frequency of which is fed to a stop counter 16, capstan servo circuit 15, B speed detection circuit 17 and C speed detection circuit 18. Further, when the still picture playback mode is set from normal speed run of the tape 1, the number of revolutions of the motor 10 is decelerated to a given speed with the control of the amplifier 11, and the motor 10 is stopped after a given time from the playback time of control signal recorded at a position corresponding to the video trunk recorded on the tape 1 with this given speed, to ensure to insert guide band noise into vertical blanking period.</p> |
